Rachel was born and raised in Florida and recently became a California transplant. Growing up, she had a passion for sports including a successful run as a competitive volleyball player and track and field athlete. After completing her undergraduate degree at Florida State University and Masters in Social Work at University of South Florida, Rachel’s passion and interest for well-being and overall health transformed into a career dedicated to serving others.
Over the last ten years, Rachel’s focus has evolved and given her the opportunity to work with a diverse set of clientele on various life challenges. It was her own health struggles that led her to pursue her passion for nutritional therapy. Her personal experiences and professional accomplishments have reinforced her desire to help others achieve a healthy lifestyle by taking a holistic and multi-dimensional approach to wellness. Rachel believes that health begins from the inside-out and can only be achieved when the body and mind are in balance.
Rachel loves spending time outdoors and lives an active lifestyle. When not at work or at CrossFit, you can find her hiking with her husband and two pups, cruising around the beaches on her bike, volunteering for local animal rescue groups, or exploring local farmers markets and restaurants that produce high quality, sustainable, nutrient-dense foods.
