Book I am hearing:  Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
Guys!  I listened to a fictional book!   Crazy right?  I think this is the first time I have chosen against my traditional nonfiction selections in a few years.  After seeing this title have over 100,000 5-Star reviews on Amazon.com I decided that it would be worth the time to give it a shot.  This story was written beautifully and has a bit of a surprise ending which makes for a very pleasurable listening experience.  If you are in the mood to sit back, relax and enjoy a great story of struggle, grace and the parallels between nature and the human race, this book will not let you down.

Cold weather exercise gear I am wearing:
 Thermal Compression Leggings
Due to the drastic weather shift about two weeks ago I ordered a pair of thermal tights to put under my athletic shorts during early morning runs.  What a difference!  No more shivering and numbness in my legs.  I also liked that the leggings did not feel like baggy sweats that caught the wind and made me feel like I was running through a wind tunnel.  At around $20 for two sets of tights, this was definitely worth the investment!

Quote I am loving: “Voting is the expression of commitment to ourselves, one another, this country and this world.” ~ Sharon Salzberg
No matter who you vote for or why, please get out and make your voice heard.  There is no greater service as a private citizen than casting your ballot for the people and initiatives you believe are in the best interest of all.  Thanks for your time and bravery!

Have a kick ass week everyone!

Track What Matters. Decide With Clarity. Get to Work. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about intentionality. We all have areas of our lives that matter—health, family, finances, relationships, work, fitness—but how often do we actually stop and measure whether our daily behaviors are moving those areas in the right direction? This week, I’m experimenting […]
