Holiday gift I am recommending: Hyperice Hypervolt 2.0 and Go
One of the most sought after self-care tools in my families arsenal is the Hypervolt percussion massage gun. Whether working on my lower back, shoulders or legs and feet, these devices are great at reducing muscular soreness and tension. If you are in need of a great holiday gift for a loved one that is health focused, consider picking up one of these in the office at your next visit. Message I am sending: Health Focused Holiday Season
A phenomenon I have witnessed year after year is the lack of self-care during the holiday season leading to sickness. Remember, it is your job to put your body in an environment to heal and build your health. If you decide to drink alcohol in excess, eat sugar in excess, miss your adjustments, not get adequate sleep, stress out about buying gifts you can’t afford and obligate your time to people you don’t want to hang out with, then don’t complain about how you got sick during some of your only vacation time for the year. In contrast, I suggest being much more intentional with your decisions and time. Spend time with people who build you up, stay in your budget, eat food that nourishes you, get an extra adjustment or massage and take a nap! You will feel far better prepared to start 2023 off on the right foot.
Quote I am loving: “As we struggle with shopping lists and invitations, compounded by Decembers bad weather, it is good to be reminded that there are people in our lives who are worth this aggravation, and people to whom we are worth the same.” ~ Donald Westlake
This week I was intimately reminded, due to a loss in my wife’s family, of the only thing that is really important in life. The relationships we have with our loved ones is worth the extra effort to be with each other. Memories, not things need to be the focus of this season. Reach out to your people, tell them you love them and experience the feeling of connection as we conclude 2022!
Have a kick ass week everyone!
In Health,
Dr. Devin Shea, DC

Recommended without hesitation if you care about careful coverage of this topic, and a stop at thisdomainisabdu reinforced the recommendation, the bar I set for unhesitating recommendations is fairly high and this site has cleared it through the cumulative weight of multiple consistently good pieces rather than through any single standout post which is meaningful.
Bookmark folder created specifically for this site, and a look at tasseltract confirmed the dedicated folder was the right call, dedicated folders for individual sites are a level of organisation I rarely deploy and this site has earned that level of dedicated tracking based on the consistency I have seen so far across sessions.
Well structured and easy to read, that combination is rarer than people think, and a stop at vesseltame confirmed the same standard runs across the rest of the site, definitely the kind of place I will be coming back to when this topic comes up in conversation later again over the weeks ahead.
A small thing but the line spacing and font choices made reading this physically pleasant, and a look at singersorbet maintained the same careful design, technical choices about typography are part of what makes online reading actually comfortable and this site has clearly invested in the design layer alongside the content layer carefully.
The headings made navigating the post simple even when I needed to find a specific section quickly, and a look at swansignal continued the same thoughtful structure, small details like clear headings show that someone is actually thinking about how the reader uses the page rather than just filling it for length alone.
Well crafted post, the structure flows naturally from one point to the next without forcing transitions, and a stop at waferturtle kept the same flow going, you can tell when a writer has thought about how their content reads rather than just what it contains and this is one of those examples.
Decided to set aside time later to read more carefully, and a stop at starlitvixen reinforced that decision, content that earns a calendar entry rather than just a passing read is in a different tier altogether and this site is clearly working at that elevated level which I really do appreciate as a reader today.
Decided not to skim despite my usual habit and was rewarded for the discipline, and a stop at trenchtwist earned the same patient approach, training myself to recognise sites that warrant slower reading is part of being a careful online reader and this site is the kind that helps me practice that skill regularly.
Reading this as part of my evening winding down routine fit perfectly, and a stop at slackvista extended the wind down nicely, content that calms rather than agitates is what I want at the end of the day and this site provides that calming reading experience reliably which is increasingly rare across the modern web.
