Event I am encouraging: Aligned Life Wellness Canned Food Drive
We are down to the wire Aligned Life Community!  To everyone who has already donated to our canned food drive this year, thank you so much for your contribution.  To everyone who has not had a chance yet, we are running out of time.  Thursday, Nov 18th is the last day we collect non-expired canned goods at the office in preparation to donate them to the San Diego Food Bank.  We hit 263 lbs. last year and are hoping to give over 300 lbs. this year so we need all hands on deck!  Thanks for your consideration!

Group I am recommending:  Mastermind Group
This past weekend I attended another mastermind with my older brother and two close friends.  We have been meeting once a quarter to discuss all aspects of our lives.  The goal of the group is to get honest and pertinent feedback on all of life’s big questions (finances, relationships, goals, how to prioritize your time, etc…).  If you have never done a group meeting like this before, I highly suggest finding a few friends you trust, whom you do not compete against and get an Airbnb for one night to chat.  I have found this to be one of the time efficient, beneficial and rewarding action steps I have taken in 2021.  I hope that you too can find the same experience with your mastermind group!

Quote I am loving: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world.  Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. ” ~ Margaret Mead
Sometimes, I find it hard to believe that my own efforts, or the efforts of my small mastermind group will make any “real” impact in the world  However, I was reminded by a friend this weekend that most of the major breakthroughs in innovation, philosophy and culture have been made by individuals and micro groups.  You are only as powerful as you are willing to take responsibility for solving your problems and the problems of others.  Don’t underestimate your potential.  This week, look to solve a problem for yourself or for your community.  The bigger the problem the better.  You can make a difference!

Have a kick ass week everyone!
