Birthday I am celebrating:  My Wife’s 40th!!!
I met my wife at UC Irvine when I was 19 years old.  We met on the dance floor.  We did not say a word to each other, but then began dancing together.  We haven’t stopped since.  She has been my biggest teacher, my best friend and my most consistent support.  She is beautiful, brilliant, caring and passionate about her family and health.  I am so lucky to be able to do this life with her and want to celebrate her today on her milestone birthday. Thank you for allowing me to honor her on this platform!

Quote I am pondering: “Will I lead for my reasons or for the benefit of others?”  ~ Todd Gongwer in Lead…For God’s Sake
In my mind, this is the key question that separates average leaders from extraordinary ones. As soon as the focus shifts from self to others, you become an authentic leader that people want to follow.  Where in your life can you change your focus to someone else?  At home, at the office, in your relationships, or to a stranger?  Ask this question repeatedly for maximum results!

Track What Matters. Decide With Clarity. Get to Work. I’ve been thinking a lot lately about intentionality. We all have areas of our lives that matter—health, family, finances, relationships, work, fitness—but how often do we actually stop and measure whether our daily behaviors are moving those areas in the right direction? This week, I’m experimenting […]
